- Damper for Beginners
- The spring rate and damping force are set to minimize the sense of incongruity when changed from OE components, so that everyone, including all the passengers, can enjoy sporty driving with NO discomfort. Also, simple adjustment systems, which are ride height adjustment function by seat positioning and damping force adjustment function (compression & rebound together), make it very easy for anyone to handle.

- Hoping to provide enjoyable driving with ride height adjustable shock absorbers for as many people as possible, we have achieved very reasonable pricing. In addition, its high quality realizes the long life span. Of course, it comes with the manufacture's limited warranty so that anyone can purchase without worry.
- Thread Type Adjustment System
- We have adopted thread type ride height adjustment system, with proper case length. Also, threads are coated with chrome plating, which has superior rustproof performance.
- Double Powder Coating for Shell Case
- We have improved rust prevention of shell cases with powder foundation coating and green powder finish coating, done at our latest painting facility.
- Uppermount / EDFC compatibility
- TEIN SUPER STREET DAMPER comes in two different kits; with or without uppermount (except some models). Pillowball uppermount with camber angle adjustment system is adopted for strut type (Ft), and reinforced rubber uppermount is used for strut (Rr), wishbone, and multi-link types. Kit with uppermount is fully compatible with EDFC. Kit without uppermount uses OE uppermount, therefore its pricing is very reasonable and affordable.
*Please note that both uppermounts and shock absorbers are not interchangeable between two different kits.
- 16-level Damping Force Adjustment System (Compression & Rebound together) and EDFC
- For damping force adjustment, TEIN SUPER STREET DAMPER uses 16-level adjustment system (compression & rebound together), which has a fine reputation, in order to achieve the setting that exhibits the best performance not only in street but also in winding road without compromising ride comfort. Furthermore, with EDFC installed, damping force adjustment can be easily done from the driver's seat. You will be free from all the troublesome adjustment procedures, and will enjoy the adjustment more conveniently and profoundly.
- Spring / Helper Spring
- Straight springs made of high tensile steel with tensile-strength of 200kgf/mm2 (1960N/mm2) are used. Newly designed taper springs are adopted for some models in order to secure the rebound side stroke. These improved the roadability and prevented the worsening of ride comfort.
