For TEIN full-length adjustable shock absorbers in a Nissan 350Z (or Fairlady Z Z33 in Japan) or Nissan Skyline V35, the vehicle's tower bar blocks access to the rear shaft tops. Because of this, the rear damping force cannot be adjusted with the provided click tool.
However, if you have a long hexagon wrench, it is possible to make adjustments via the holes in that bar. Since the rod top is not located directly underneath the hole, we recommend using a wrench with a rounded top that allows for manipulation from an angle (Photos 1-1 and 1-2).
Another option is to install an EDFC (sold separately), so you can adjust damping force from the driver's seat. Please note that installing an EDFC requires widening the hole in the vehicle's tower bar.
