TEIN's damping force adjustment system works through turning the dial on top of the shock absorber shaft. After using this mechanism many times, dirt can get trapped between A and B in the illustration, restricting it from working smoothly. If this happens, blow air or a permeable lubricant into the mechanism to remove dirt and smoothen rotation. Be careful not to force rotation, because that can cause damage. Also, to prevent trapped dust, leave the "ADD" cap (black rubber cap) on the top of the shaft.
